The following photo's were taken in May 2011 at the Wolverhampton Education Business Partnership event hosted at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club's Molineux.
UKMG supported the Education Business Partnership yearly school challenge at the Billy Wright stand at the Molineux the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. The day event featured nearly a hundred primary school pupils who were set a challenge to design and market a tee shirt to be sold for next years Olympics.
I was amazed at the level of enthusiasm the pupils I mentored from Bilston primary school who demonstrated excellent business acumen for their age. They thought of everything from simple business plans to an exciting tee shirt design and a marketting strategy which included online sales to TV advertising. A special well done to all those who attended and congratulations to Jean and her team at the wolverhampton Education Business Partnership for putting on an inspiring event. Im sure that these events find the entrepeneurs of the future...maybe even future Olympians.
Kenyan Orphan Sponsorship Trust
Uk Mortgage Gallery Ltd donate money to the Kenyan Orphan Sponsorship Trust (KOST). We have donated over 600 pound since 2008. We at Uk Mortgage Gallery also raised money at our launch in 2008 with all the money raised going to KOST.
The Kenyan Orphan Sponsorship Trust (KOST) is a small, Leeds-based registered charity supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya. The Trust was established in 1995 by Reverend Dr. Mabel Parris, who witnessed first hand the hardship caused by chronic poverty on her numerous visits to western Kenya. Particularly concerning was the plight of the children living in the rural areas. KOST was established to relieve their suffering and give them opportunities for the future. KOST is an independent charity which generates its funds through sponsorship, donations and fundraising. The KOST Sponsorship Programme allows groups or individuals to give financial support for a named child in our care or else KOST's work generally.
